Creating an Account

You must first install and activate ESChat to begin placing Push to Talk (PTT) calls.  This can be done in one of two ways:

  • Sign up for a Demo Account (free 30-day trial)

You can download a free, 30 day, demo account on our public server. 

To do this on an Android device, go to the Google Play Store to search for ESChat.  Load the application and fill in the new user information to activate your account.

On an iOS device, you should first set up the free demo account by going to our website: https://www.sla-ptt.com/ and click Activate Your Free Trial Account.  This process takes only a minute.  Then download the ESChat app from the Apple App Store.  Enter the username and password that you were provided on the Activation page.

  • Via Activation Email or SMS message (production account)

            The standard ESChat monthly service price is $4.99 per ESChat client device (such as an Android, iOS, or Ravine2 device, or a dispatch client).

If you have ordered ESChat, you will receive an email or text message containing installation and activation links.  Follow the instructions for your particular device.

Close any open Activation web pages in the Browser, such as from previously clicking the link in a previously received activation message. If there is already a previous Activation web page displayed in the Browser, then clicking the new activation link may not display the correct current Activation web page.
