Android "Verify your account" screen

Before performing an Android device software update or factory reset such as using the Kyocera software update tool set to update the DuraForce XD, perform either of the following steps to ensure you can unlock the device if the Google "Verify your account" screen is subsequently displayed.

Options are either:

  • Verify that you have the email address and password to at least one of the Google accounts on the device.
  • Remove all Google accounts from the device.
