***ESChat - Mandatory Android Software Update Instructions***

Checking your Android software version:

You can verify your current ESChat Android software version by pressing the Menu Button (three vertical dots at the top right of any ESChat screen) and selecting 'About'.  Please ensure you have Version 21.0 or greater.

How to update your Android software:

Note: You will need an account with the Play Store to download the updated version of ESChat.  For instruction on creating or signing into your Google account, click here.

If you have already installed ESChat from the Google Play Store, simply return to the Play Store and search for ESChat.  Press the Update button and wait for the update process to complete.  You will not be required to re-enter your activation code.  If you are already on the current store version, the only choices displayed are Open or Uninstall.

If your company uses a Mobile Device Manager (MDM) to manage your fleet, please contact your MDM administator.  This contact will be able to download the Android 'apk' file from the following link and install the updated version of ESChat on your device: http://www.eschat.com/android-update/.  For assistance with sideloading an APK, click here.

This update only applies to ESChat Android Clients.  If you have any questions or require further assistance with this update process, please contact ESChat Support by calling 844-437-2428 ext. 3, or by email at 'support@eschat.com'.
